We had the opportunity to take part in the Grand Opening of the new Ragazzi International Restaurant situated in the same location where it all started back in 1996.
Twenty years later Restaurateur Jorge Leon reunited with his roots in Nogales AZ and reinvents his new concept of Ragazzi International Cuisine. New gourmet menus, lunch specials, extensive wine list, live music and a great value, make it all come together for our customers.
As with all fine dining restaurants, attention to detail is a must for Jorge Leon and his partner. They are always present to allow for a more personal and unforgettable experience making sure that customer service is at the top of their list. Ragazzi restaurants have been proudly serving unforgettable meals that leave a lasting impression to our deserving guests since 1996. The first restaurant was opened February 1996 through May 2001 in Nogales, Arizona.
After many years of hard work and interest in expanding to new markets. It took the owner to Tucson, Arizona where a restaurant at the Crossroad Plaza was opened. Here, Ragazzi was voted best new restaurant in Tucson for 2002.
In September 2003, Ragazzi moved to Green Valley, Arizona where the owner hoped to share the tastes and flavors of Italy with the community.
In July 2012, Trattoria Ragazzi received four-star recognition from TripAdvisor for its excellence in quality and service.
In November 2014, a sister restaurant was opened in Tubac, Arizona as Ragazzi International Cuisine. The delicious dishes and customer service continues on with a third restaurant now open in the fall of 2016!
